Grill’d Burgers: Crows Nest (25 August 2012)

The weather’s heating up and I can finally feel Spring coming around the corner. To celebrate the lovely weather over the weekend, M and I went to Grill’d for some of their mouthwatering grilled beef burgers and their new cider slushies!
Woo slushy time!

Raspberry cider slushy
Mmm I love ciders and I love slushies so I was stoked to find out that Grill’d had started to sell cider slushies. Although they were quite pricey for the small size, it was refreshingly delicious and summery, with hints of raspberries and lime throughout the yummy icy concoction.
The Almighty
Grilled grass fed lean beef mince patty topped with tasty cheese, crispy bacon, a fried free range egg, slices of juicy beetroot with salad, relish & herbed mayo. A consistent winner that has always been juicy and filling.
Summer Sunset
Another grilled grass fed lean beef mince patty, but unlike the Almighty it’s topped with avocado mash, crispy trim bacon, a sweet and juicy golden pineapple slice, salad, relish & herbed mayo. The golden pineapple slice really topped the burger off for me, and transported me to some Summery heaven when I had it with the cider slushy.
Hot Chips
Thick-cut chips fried crispy and topped with a herb mix.
